Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef at Hampton Chocolate Factory, you'll be the guardian of our product integrity, ensuring every dessert is executed with precision, artistry, and consistency. In this hands-on leadership role, you will organize, train, and guide the kitchen team to deliver premium products that meet exacting standards, while also supporting recipe organization, R&D, and seasonal rollouts.
You'll collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and General Manager to maintain uncompromising quality, introduce new products, and create smooth, efficient workflows in the kitchen. As the standard-bearer of recipes, MOPs, and production methods, you'll balance craftsmanship with disciplined executionmaking sure every dessert reflects Hampton Chocolate Factory's promise of a 'one-of-a-kind memorable experience.'

Uphold and enforce strict adherence to recipes and MOPs (no changes or 'eyeballing' without written approval).
Ensure daily production meets demand with flawless quality and consistency.
Organize and maintain recipe documentation and kitchen processes.
Train and lead new staff and leaders on production methods and new product introductions.
Support seasonal rollouts from preparation, execution, through follow-up inspections to confirm standards are met.
Assist in R&D by testing and refining new products in alignment with brand quality.
Monitor freshness, enforce FIFO standards, and support inventory coordination.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment that reflects brand values.
Provide ~8 hours per week of FOH support to stay connected with the guest experience.
Collaborate effectively with management to align production with store initiatives and goals.
A passion for culinary craftsmanship and premium dessert production.
12 years of experience in food production, pastry, or culinary environments (chocolate or dessert experience preferred).
Proven ability to train and lead teams, including peers and leaders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detailespecially in recipes and quality control.
Proactive communication skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
Reliability, accountability, and the ability to thrive in high-volume, fast-paced settings.
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 lbs.
Comfortable working in varied temperatures.
Frequent multitasking, communication, and physical activity in a high-demand kitchen.
