Position Summary
A Senior Transactional Practice Assistant is needed to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced transactional environment. This role combines advanced legal support with high-level administrative responsibilities, playing a key part in managing workflows, coordinating tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Core Responsibilities

• Manage calendars, schedules, deadlines, and email communications
• Prepare, draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
• Handle legal filings with courts and relevant entities
• Act as a point of contact for clients, managing calls and communications
• Review and edit monthly client billing and invoices
• Maintain and update internal procedures and workflows
• Support attorneys with complex transactional tasks and projects
• Provide guidance and backup support to other team members

• 8+ years of experience in a law firm, supporting senior attorneys or partners
• Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Familiarity with legal billing and document management systems (preferred)
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Close attention to detail and proofreading accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annually (non-exempt)
• Performance-based bonus eligibility
