Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Bonus Potential About the Role A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Transactional Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced transactional practice. This is a high-impact role combining advanced legal support with administrative leadership, offering the opportunity to contribute to workflow coordination and team efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support including calendaring, email management, and document preparation
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and memoranda
- Manage attorney schedules, deadlines, and appointments
- File legal documents with courts and other entities as required
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client communications
- Greet clients and maintain a professional, client-focused environment
- Review and edit monthly client billing and invoices
- Maintain and update internal procedures and workflows
- Support attorneys with complex transactional projects
- Act as a resource and mentor to junior legal assistants
- Provide backup support across the team as needed
- 8+ years of experience in a law firm environment
- Experience supporting senior attorneys or partners preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with legal billing and document management systems (e.g., PracticeMaster, NetDocuments, or similar)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Discretion in handling confidential information
- $70,000 - $80,000 annual salary (non-exempt, hourly)
