About the Role SPOT — the Solutions Partner Operations Team — is the operational backbone of HubSpot’s Solutions Partner Program. We’re the team that makes sure partners get paid accurately and on time, that payment questions get resolved quickly, and that new program pilots have the operational infrastructure they need to land cleanly. We’re looking for a Revenue Operations Specialist who can handle the core commissions and payment workload with consistency and accuracy, and step into new pilots as the person who figures out what needs to happen operationally before anything goes live. This isn’t a build-it-and-hand-it-off role — you’ll own the processes you run and the programs you help stand up. What You’ll Do Commissions Pipeline Own your share of the commissions pipeline — processing partner payments accurately, on cadence, and without errors. You’ll work through the full payment cycle, cross-checking data across systems, catching discrepancies before they become partner-facing issues, and keeping your queue current. Consistency and accuracy matter here more than speed; partners trust that their commissions are right, and you’ll be part of keeping that trust. Payment Inquiries & Partner Support Serve as a point of contact for payment-related questions from partners and internal stakeholders. When a payment inquiry comes in, you’ll own it — investigating the issue, coordinating with Finance where needed, communicating clearly with the partner or PDM, and closing it out. You won’t pass questions along and wait; you’ll drive them to resolution. Manual Pilot Support When SPOT takes on a new program pilot, there’s almost always a manual operational layer that needs to be built before automation catches up. You’ll be the person who owns that layer — mapping out every step, executing it accurately, flagging gaps as they surface, and helping document the process so it can be handed off or automated over time. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and you know how to build structure where none exists yet. Process & Documentation Maintain clean, up-to-date process documentation for every workstream you own. When a process changes, your docs change with it — not after the fact. You’ll also surface recurring errors or patterns to the team so we can fix root causes, not just individual tickets. What We’re Looking For 1–3 years in an operations, finance operations, or revenue operations role — experience with commissions or partner payments is a strong plus High attention to detail and a low tolerance for errors — you double-check your work before it goes out Ability to own a process end-to-end, not just execute individual tasks within it Clear, professional communicator — partners and PDMs will be counting on you for accurate, timely responses Comfortable working across systems — SNOW, Partner Admin, NetSuite, Xactly, or similar tools Proactive about flagging issues and bringing a proposed resolution, not just a question Comfortable stepping into new programs with incomplete information and building structure as you go Who Thrives in This Role This role suits someone who takes real satisfaction in doing operational work well — where accuracy, consistency, and follow-through aren’t just expectations but personal standards.
