This role is pivotal in providing high-quality telehealth services to clients in Niagara Falls, New York, and surrounding areas. As a mental health counselor, you will be responsible for delivering individual and group therapy aimed at promoting mental wellness and facilitating positive behavioral change.

Work Environment\n

Our work environment is fully remote, allowing counselors to provide services via telehealth. This flexible model ensures you have a work-life balance while maintaining contact with clients through a secure digital platform. We operate with a client-oriented schedule, offering availability from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, making it easier for our clients to receive the support they need, when they need it most.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each client's unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, groups, families, and couples.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients, contributing to treatment strategy discussions and progress evaluations.
\n
• Engage in regular professional development and training workshops to stay informed about the latest research and techniques in mental health counseling.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, and substance abuse issues. Your work will focus on enhancing client resilience and improving their quality of life through tailored interventions and support. By fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance, you will help clients navigate their challenges and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical counseling, demonstrating your capacity to handle a variety of mental health issues through effective therapeutic practices.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the practice of mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
