Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility and convenience for our counselors. Our team operates within an outpatient office setting, allowing for a structured schedule with client appointments typically held Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the majority of your scheduling will remain consistent, occasional flexibility may be needed to accommodate urgent patient needs or group sessions. We emphasize a culture of collaboration, ensuring that you remain connected and supported by fellow counselors and other mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to identify clients' needs, strengths, and weaknesses, enabling you to craft personalized treatment plans tailored to their circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to effectively support individuals, couples, and families during their therapeutic journey.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups focused on shared mental health issues, fostering a sense of community among participants while enhancing their understanding of mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health providers to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring the safety and stability of clients during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions and treatment options, as well as assist them in navigating available community resources.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential documentation related to client care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance client success.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying current with the latest research and advancements within the field of mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children to adults, addressing a variety of mental health issues. Our patients include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and substance use disorders, all requiring tailored therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs. Building therapeutic alliances with clients from various backgrounds is key to enhancing their engagement and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing targeted treatment plans.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

• Ability to maintain professional ethics and boundaries while providing compassionate care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
