Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to formulate mental health diagnoses in line with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM-5) standards.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices tailored specifically for each client's unique challenges.

• Provide cognitive behavioral therapy to individuals, families, and groups, adapting interventions to meet varying needs across multiple settings.

• Actively respond to crisis situations, promptly assessing the urgency of needs and administering appropriate therapeutic responses and referrals.

• Implement therapeutic frameworks such as behavior modification and brief therapy throughout counseling sessions to enhance client engagement and outcomes.

• Supervise and mentor Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.

• Build cross-system care plans and collaborate with other community professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Educate and train team members and the community on relevant clinical topics to support ongoing professional development and community engagement.

• Perform intake sessions, conducting Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments to evaluate client needs and guide treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving mothers and families from low-income backgrounds and marginalized communities. You will work closely with clients who may face varying degrees of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. Your expertise will empower clients to improve their emotional well-being and access necessary resources while promoting resilience within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent license as a mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the state of Oregon or your current state of residence.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a varied and substantial caseload while coordinating with healthcare providers and support staff.

• Proficient in electronic medical records systems, email communication, and Windows applications to uphold efficient patient care and documentation standards.

• In-depth knowledge of co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders and their interventions.
