Job Responsibilities

  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and capabilities in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with occupational, physical, and speech therapists, along with physicians and nursing staff, to deliver thorough, well-rounded care.
  • Guide Patients and Caregivers: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to facilitate ongoing success at home.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatments: Document clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients maintain steady progress.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported
Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement
