Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and assessments, documenting client cases from the initial consultation through the entire course of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, employing evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that are adaptable to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups in a virtual format.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing interactive technologies to foster connection and engagement.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborate extensively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and primary care physicians to follow up on clients admitted to hospitals and ensure continuity of care.

• Identify and address any behaviors that may hinder recovery, employing therapeutic strategies that empower clients and promote resilience.

• Support families and primary caregivers in managing related mental health challenges, providing guidance and education to better assist their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, each grappling with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Your role is crucial in developing empathic relationships that foster trust, enabling effective therapy outcomes. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A proven record of passing the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Previous experience as a mental health counselor with a strong clinical background.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, to maintain accurate documentation.

• A sound understanding of underlying physical and mental health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is highly desirable.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and healthcare team members.

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, showcasing a compassionate approach to client interactions.
