Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. Our client is seeking an experienced and collaborative Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and process improvements. This hybrid position will play a key leadership role within the finance team while partnering across departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This opportunity is based in Gahanna, Ohio with a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger activities Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls Supervise and mentor accounting staff members Reconcile accounts and review journal entries for accuracy Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Collaborate with leadership on financial reporting and strategic initiatives Support ERP system enhancements and reporting improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior supervisory or management experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Strong communication and leadership skills CPA designation preferred What Our Client Offers Hybrid flexibility and supportive team culture Leadership visibility and growth opportunities Competitive compensation and bonus potential Comprehensive healthcare and retirement benefits Stable and growing organization with long-term career potential #J-18808-Ljbffr
