Salary Range: $115,000–$125,000

A well-established professional services organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and oversee key financial functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, payroll, audits, and tax compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage trust accounting activities and daily cash flow operations
• Oversee banking relationships, cash management, and bank reconciliations
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate annual audit activities
• Manage tax compliance processes and partner with external advisors on filings and reporting requirements
• Supervise accounting staff and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payroll administration and compliance
• Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• Prior leadership or people management experience preferred
• Hands-on payroll experience, including payroll processing
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
• Professional services industry experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
