Director of Talent & Culture

Job Description Act as a collaborative and strategic partner to the General Manager and the Executive Committee Members for strategizing the hotel’s goals, developing and implementing process improvements, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, coaching performance, and delivering heartfelt service. Lead Talent Management Attract top talent by championing the brand’s culture and values, ensuring effective staffing strategies with leaders, maintaining a pulse on the local talent pool, and building a pipeline of eager hospitality professionals through educational institutions and career fairs. Create a seamless and inclusive onboarding process for all new Team Members, develop a competitive compensation structure, and support succession planning aligned with the overall Talent Management strategy. Culture Creator Demonstrate passion for the team by spending time across departments, attending daily rallies, and walking spaces. Foster a collaborative approach by exchanging ideas with peers and managers, valuing each Team Member’s input, and establishing a feedback loop where concerns are heard and actioned. Champion an events calendar, recognition programs, and incentive initiatives to keep Team Members engaged and connected to the brand. Maintain effective communication so that all Team Members are “in the know” and messaging aligns with the brand. Learning and Development Prioritize Auberge L&D initiatives by organizing and leading Team Member training, and collaborate with leaders and team members to develop their service skills and product delivery. Financial Acumen and Subject Matter Expertise Utilize sound financial decision‑making to ensure budgets are in place and adhered to, providing the Team with necessary resources for events and programming. Ensure compliance with mandatory laws and proactively address upcoming changes in city, state, and federal labor statutes that impact the business and the team. Skillfully address employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in alignment with Auberge ENRICH values, fostering a respectful and heartfelt environment.
