Work Environment

This full-time, onsite position is set in our busy outpatient clinic where collaboration and teamwork are key components of daily operations. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Physical Therapists work alongside orthopedic physicians, athletic trainers, and rehabilitation specialists in a high-energy, supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biomechanical evaluations and movement assessments to determine optimal rehabilitation strategies.
• Implement manual therapy techniques combined with progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation programs to facilitate recovery.
• Lead advanced return-to-play testing and design sport-specific training regimens tailored to individual athletes' needs.
• Collaborate closely with athletic trainers, orthopedic physicians, and performance coaches to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, recovery processes, and maintaining long-term mobility for enhanced performance.
• Document patient progress accurately and efficiently within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population of athletes, including youth sports participants, college athletes, and weekend fitness enthusiasts. We prioritize individualized care, understanding that each patient requires a tailored approach to their specific athletic goals and recovery needs. Your expertise as a Sports Physical Therapist will be crucial in guiding these individuals back to peak performance while minimizing the risk of re-injury.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and current licensure in the state of Nevada (or eligibility for licensure).
• A strong foundation in sports medicine principles, biomechanics, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional performance training methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills and an athlete-first mindset, fostering trust and confidence with patients.
• Ability to confidently navigate both rehabilitative and return-to-sport scenarios, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) or an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is highly regarded.
• A background in athletic training or experience with collegiate/professional sports rehabilitation programs.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities such as blood flow restriction therapy, dry needling, or state-of-the-art sports technology tools (e.g., force plates, motion capture systems).

Compensation and Benefits
