Accounting clerk

Randstad is hiring a part-time contract Accounting Clerk for an onsite role in Wilmington, MA, working Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The client is a premier commercial and residential plumbing service provider serving the greater region. This is a contract position designed to transition to permanent employment, typically after three months, with the potential to expand into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Invoicing: Process customer invoices accurately and ensure timely distribution via mail or email.
• Collections Support: Perform light collections outreach on past-due customer invoices to ensure prompt account resolution.
• Inbox & Administrative Oversight: Monitor, triage, and respond to general office email inquiries promptly.
• Records Management: Handle physical paper filing, organizational systems, and routine office upkeep.
• General Clerical Assistance: Support broader administrative and office tasks as needed by management.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on office administrative, clerical, or basic accounting experience preferred.
• Availability: Able to work onsite in Wilmington, MA on the required schedule starting on September 15th .
