Med Fit Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Stafford, Virginia. This position involves delivering exceptional physical therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Work Environment

This full-time position is structured within a home care setting, which allows for flexibility in providing personalized therapy sessions tailored to each patient's unique environment. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, dedicating your efforts to effectively manage your patient load and ensure each individual receives the attention and care they deserve. The onsite nature of this role fosters strong connections with patients, enabling you to monitor their progress closely.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's mobility and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality one-on-one therapy sessions that effectively address the specific goals and needs of each patient.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure each patient receives the appropriate time and care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and cost-effective treatment strategies to promote mobility and restore function.
• Educate patients on the importance of non-surgical treatment options, placing emphasis on lifestyle modification and preventive care.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities and exercises.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging adherence to their fitness and wellness programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient management.
• Perform regular evaluations of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Document all therapy sessions and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records (EMR), specifically using Web PT for maintaining precise and comprehensive records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be instrumental in providing rehabilitation care that fundamentally improves patients' physical capabilities and overall health.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Active Physiotherapy license in Virginia, with a clean record free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Web PT, ensuring accurate documentation and patient data management.
• Commitment to staying updated on the latest research and practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient settings or home care environments is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that yield positive patient outcomes.
• Strong communication skills adapted to conveying complex information to patients and families.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
