Work Environment

This position will be onsite at our patients' residences in Stafford, Virginia. Our clinic promotes a collaborative team atmosphere, emphasizing effective communication between staff and patients. You will work alongside a diverse group of healthcare professionals, contributing to a holistic approach to patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients to develop tailored treatment plans addressing specific functional limitations and disabilities.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing assessments, and documenting findings to formulate appropriate recommendations.
• Implement treatment protocols grounded in patient evaluation findings while adapting to their evolving needs throughout the healthcare process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engaging in consultations and modifying treatment plans based on patient progress and changes in their condition.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation of patient encounters, including focused evaluations, progress summaries, and discharge planning records to provide a clear continuum of care.
• Attend and participate in regular facility meetings to discuss patient care initiatives and strategies for improving access to rehabilitation services.
• Maintain compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations, while fulfilling corporate and clinical service training requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists serve a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. The clinic's outpatient home care model empowers therapists to create meaningful relationships with patients in their natural environments, facilitating more personalized and effective treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia, issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic care, demonstrating your expertise in this specialized field.
• Valid CPR certification to ensure patient safety during care delivery.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home health care settings is particularly valued, as the ability to adjust therapy practices based on a patient's home environment can greatly enhance treatment effectiveness. Knowledge of current best practices and emerging trends in physical therapy will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, benefits include:
