Work Environment

This position is onsite within our outpatient clinic setting, where you will interact face-to-face with patients in a warm and welcoming environment. Operating Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, you'll enjoy a consistent schedule with ample opportunities to connect with your patients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized physical therapy care by assessing each patient's specific health challenges and developing tailored treatment plans that aim to restore mobility and improve physical function.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to ensure that every client receives focused, individualized therapy sessions that maximize their rehabilitation potential.
• Utilize hands-on therapeutic techniques in orthopedic outpatient care, ensuring the application of best practices to facilitate patient recovery.
• Implement effective and evidence-based treatment methodologies, including strength training, manual therapy, and mobility restoration exercises.
• Encourage patients to embrace non-surgical alternatives to traditional pain management, minimizing their reliance on medication while fostering natural healing processes.
• Create fitness and wellness plans based on the unique needs and goals of each patient, supporting their journey toward improved health.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document each session accurately to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population comprising individuals of various ages and backgrounds, each requiring personalized attention to their rehabilitation needs. Our clinic specializes in both post-operative and non-operative cases, allowing you to engage with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and mobility impairments. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings, demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics.
• Exceptional skills in various manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for precise documentation of patient care.
• Thorough understanding of current physical therapy techniques and methodologies, supported by the latest research.

• Proven track record in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly within sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for the Physical Therapist position at Feel Life Body Therapy & Home Care ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
