Position Overview

Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Stafford, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disability and restoring function.
• Directly provide physical therapy services—including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic modalities—in a compassionate and motivating manner.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective execution of treatment plans within regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies based on observable changes in physical condition.
• Engage in collaborative care planning and multi-disciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Document patient care accurately, including initial evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home care strategies, and the use of any prescribed assistive devices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives and stay current on best practices in physical therapy.

As a Physical Therapist at Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your role will be critical in assessing their unique needs and providing tailored interventions that help improve their functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current, valid licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• A minimum of one year of experience in physical therapy, ideally within an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
• CPR certification from a recognized provider.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with an emphasis on patient engagement and family consultation.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals for patient care.
• A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to problem-solving and patient interaction.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with current physical therapy practices and methodologies.
• Knowledge of assistive technologies and orthotic/prosthetic evaluation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
