Work Environment

This position is a full-time, onsite role focused on delivering home care services. You will work within a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and support staff, all committed to providing optimal patient care. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing a structured yet flexible working environment that fosters both professional development and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring a manageable patient load to focus on delivering effective and high-quality care.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and evidence-based interventions to enhance patient mobility and strength.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise regimens and lifestyle modifications that can enhance recovery and prevent further injury.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying informed about the latest research and advances in physical therapy.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options, focusing on improving function through therapeutic exercises and modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population served at the Center for Physical and Rehabilitation, LLC includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and various musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• A valid and active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia with a clean record, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Graduation from a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Strong competence in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective patient education and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• A deep understanding of the latest physical therapy practices, ensuring evidence-based interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits
