Operations Manager – Independent Wealth Management Firm Compensation: Competitive base + performance bonus, total target ~\$150K Our client is a growing, independent wealth management firm in Los Angeles North County that helps families plan for retirement — and they're looking for an experienced operator to run the business side of the practice. The firm is led by a founder who spends most of their time with clients, which means this role exists to make sure the engine behind them keeps running smoothly — people, numbers, and process. What You'll Do Manage the day-to-day business operations of the practice, including bookkeeping, payroll, and HR functions Lead and support the client service team, keeping deadlines, workflows, and accountability on track Own CRM data integrity and documented processes so nothing gets missed Act as the operational and compliance liaison with the firm's outside RIA partner Facilitate regular team meetings to keep priorities and projects moving Provide light administrative support to the founder — scheduling, inbox management, and day-to-day organization Bring structure to a growing, fast-paced practice while staying adaptable as needs shift What You Bring Experience managing operations in a financial advisory, RIA, or similar professional services setting Comfort working in a small, collaborative office where roles overlap and priorities shift An adaptable, solutions-oriented mindset — comfortable with change and quick pivots Strong organizational skills paired with a bias toward action over perfection Background as an operational lead, business manager, or integrator-style role is a plus No securities or insurance licensing required — this is a non-client-facing leadership role Why This Role Real ownership and autonomy as the operational backbone of a growing practice A close-knit, supportive team culture A foundational seat as the firm enters its next phase of growth Competitive pay, 401(k) with match, profit sharing, and full health benefits Base salary + quarterly performance bonus tied to firm goals (total target ~\$150K) #J-18808-Ljbffr The Well
