CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH | MANAGING DIRECTOR / PARTNER — ENTERPRISE AI AI People Global is conducting a confidential search for an exceptional Managing Director / Partner-level Enterprise AI leader from a major global consulting or technology services organisation. This is a senior consulting leadership position for someone who combines three capabilities rarely found together: We are particularly interested in established consulting executives who have led complex AI transformation programmes for Fortune 500 / Global 2000 organisations, while remaining sufficiently close to the technology to engage credibly in how enterprise AI solutions are architected, configured and deployed. This is not a pure sales or deal-shaping role. Equally, it is not an AI engineering or architecture position. The successful individual will sit between the two: a senior consulting leader capable of operating with the C-suite, shaping major AI transformations and remaining deeply engaged through solution design and enterprise deployment. The profile We are looking for executives operating at Managing Director, Partner, Senior Managing Director, VP or equivalent level, ideally within a major consulting or technology services organisation. Significant leadership of enterprise AI / GenAI / Agentic AI transformation Direct ownership of major Fortune 500 / Global 2000 client relationships Strong industry expertise within Financial Services, Insurance, Consumer, Manufacturing, Healthcare/Life Sciences or another major enterprise vertical A track record of taking AI programmes beyond strategy and experimentation into production and enterprise-scale deployment Strong understanding of AI architecture, data platforms, integration, governance, security and operating models The technical credibility to challenge architects and engineers and work through solution design directly with clients Significant consulting delivery and programme leadership Commercial responsibility for substantial AI/Data/Transformation portfolios Evidence of measurable business outcomes created through AI Leadership of senior multidisciplinary consulting, engineering and architecture teams A career history demonstrating meaningful tenure and sustained delivery The distinction matters We are not seeking executives whose AI experience is primarily proposition development, sales leadership or deal origination. We want to speak with senior consulting leaders who can credibly say: "I have personally helped major enterprises work out how AI should be deployed - and stayed involved until it actually worked." We will therefore be particularly interested in understanding: What enterprise AI programmes have you personally led? What reached production? What was your role in the architecture and solution design? What measurable business impact was delivered? Which industries and major clients genuinely know you? What size portfolio, teams and client relationships have you led? Target background We are particularly interested in executives from leading global consulting and technology services organisations with substantial enterprise AI practices. Candidates are likely to have progressed through consulting, architecture or technology leadership before moving into broader Managing Director / Partner responsibility — rather than having built their careers exclusively in sales. Level: Managing Director / Partner / SMD / VP equivalent Geography: United States / Europe Focus: Enterprise AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, Data & AI Transformation Environment: Major global enterprise clients Compensation: $300,000-500,000+ / £225,000-375,000+ total package, depending on experience and location This is a senior executive-level opportunity with compensation structured accordingly.
