Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies for clients, conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to gauge their specific needs.

• Provide a range of therapeutic services, including evidence-based interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Utilize various tailored therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, addressing all aspects of their mental health and well-being.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and continuing education to stay current with advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling services serve a diverse population, including individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. You will work with clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to connect with clients from varying backgrounds and experiences will be vital in fostering trust and promoting effective therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating strong therapeutic skills and expertise is essential.

• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health care is mandatory.

• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively build rapport with clients.

• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technology is preferred to enhance client documentation and interaction.

• Specialization in therapies related to family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly valuable.

• Prior experience working as part of a healthcare team and coordinating care is advantageous.

• The expected salary range for this position is USD $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
