Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess the psychological needs of patients, including crisis intervention and formulation of treatment plans.

• Coordinate patient care, making decisions regarding the appropriate level of service and referring patients to additional resources as needed.

• Facilitate group treatment sessions in mental health observation units, providing targeted therapy that fosters resilience and improvement.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds, contributing insights and recommendations based on patient evaluations and treatment plans.

• Manage documentation diligently, including statistical reporting and maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engage with the Department of Correction, ensuring seamless access and support for patients in institutional settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse patient population, including youth, families, and adults facing a range of mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in community mental health settings or clinics.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a flexible schedule, which allows employees to choose their work hours within a 40-hour workweek. Our benefits package includes:
