Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations and oversee a small team responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month‑end close activities. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines operational accounting, financial reporting, team development, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience managing accounting staff, and a proven ability to drive accuracy, efficiency, and accountability across core accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Cash Applications, and general accounting functions. Oversee Financial Reporting & Month-End Close functions Analyze financial results and investigate significant variances. Support audit requests and compliance requirements. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members. Provide coaching and training to support professional growth. Foster a collaborative and high‑performance team environment. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Prior experience supervising accounting staff. Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger accounting, and month‑end close. Experience working within ERP systems (Implementation experience a plus!). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) is a plus.
