Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ and families’ social, emotional, and psychological needs, utilizing evidence-based evaluation methods to inform your practice.

• Facilitate group counseling sessions aimed at fostering peer support and developing coping strategies among students.

• Develop strategic service plans in collaboration with clients, setting achievable goals and identifying specific interventions.

• Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and are informed about their options concerning social justice issues.

• Engage in program development and evaluation, contributing to grant reporting and ensuring accountability in our initiatives.

• Collaborate with a network of community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to amplify support for our clients.

• Participate in regular team meetings, trainings, and community outreach initiatives to promote our services and increase awareness of social issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and their families, addressing a diverse range of challenges including behavioral issues, mental health crises, and social disparities. You will work closely with educators and school counselors to ensure a comprehensive support system, fostering resilience and promoting mental wellbeing in the school community.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Tennessee.

Compensation and Benefits\n
