Associate Director, Demand & Revenue Forecasting

Overview We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead Demand and Revenue Forecasting for our US TTR Franchise. This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive forecasting models and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the biotech industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights to drive brand performance. This position will be hybrid and primarily based in Cambridge, MA.ResponsibilitiesAdvanced forecasting experience, including developing different types of models (patient flow-based, unit trend-based (weekly/monthly) leveraging primary and secondary data sourcesDevelop robust forecasting assumptions related to market dynamics, competitive landscape, pricing, payer access, treatment algorithms, and patient flowMonitor market dynamics, competitor performance, treatment paradigms, payer trends, and regulatory developments impacting forecast performanceDrive forecasting innovation through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and automation toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, market access, advanced analytics, and supply chain to ensure alignment and accuracy of forecastsProven track record presenting insights to senior executives and cross-functional leadership teamsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. MBA, MS, PhD, or other advanced degrees preferred8-10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology forecasting experienceDemonstrated experience in specialty, oncology, or other complex therapeutic areasExperience supporting product launch forecastingExperience using IQVIA, Symphony, MMIT, or similar industry data sourcesFamiliarity with data visualization and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or R preferredAbout AlnylamWe are the leader in RNAi therapeutics – a revolutionary approach with the potential to transform the lives of people with rare and common diseases. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
