General Laborer

We are currently hiring General Laborers to support operations in a foundry manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role ideal for candidates who are safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in high-temperature industrial settings. You will play a key role in supporting casting operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient production process.

Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

• Wear all required PPE and follow safety protocols at all times
• Report any safety concerns immediately

Production Support

• Prepare casting lines, troughs, and inline equipment
• Remove slag and impurities during the skimming process
• Monitor and adjust casting flow and speed as needed
• Ensure ingots meet size and quality specifications
• Apply coating to casting molds following procedures

Casting & Handling

• Stack, weigh, and stencil ingots and materials accurately
• Safely remove knockout pins during casting
• Assist in sow pouring and apply water safely
• Transport materials using chains and proper lifting techniques
• Operate forklifts to move materials to designated areas

Quality & Maintenance

• Maintain production quality and accuracy
• Keep work areas clean and free of obstructions
• Maintain aisles, walkways, and workspaces safe and organized

Requirements

• Willingness to work in a foundry environment (hot/cold conditions)
• Ability to follow strict safety protocols and wear PPE
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Ability to monitor processes and respond quickly to issues
• Basic understanding of production or manufacturing processes (preferred)
• Forklift experience (plus)
• Reliable and safety-oriented
