As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll offer invaluable support to a 7th grade student with complex medical needs, serving as a key member of the school’s Health Services team. The assignment is full-time, following the academic calendar, and starts as soon as possible through early June 2027.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Minnesota LPN license (must provide proof upon application)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Two or more years of pediatric, school, or home health nursing experience
• Proficiency with tracheostomy care and suctioning—required for this student
• Comfortable supporting students with complex developmental and medical needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dedicated, 1:1 healthcare to a student throughout the school day
• Monitor and perform tracheostomy care and suctioning as needed
• Implement and accurately document all care per the student’s individualized healthcare plan
• Ride the school bus with the student to and from home, ensuring seamless, safe transportation
• Collaborate with the school health team, staff, and the student’s family to promote comprehensive care
• Maintain thorough daily records of all provided nursing interventions and observations
