Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group in CVICU according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, perform assessments, administer medications as policy requires, and update care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, perfusionists, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring unit efficiency and patient safety.
- Document clinical data accurately and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and privacy standards.

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing for practice in the applicable jurisdiction
- CVICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in a travel assignment
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
