Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the unique needs and challenges of each patient, considering their medical history and conditions.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address both mental and physical health, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, share insights, and enhance treatment efficacy.

• Provide crisis intervention, ensuring that clients in acute distress receive immediate support and guidance during emergencies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and validated licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals who have mental health needs alongside medical conditions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a nurturing yet professional approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
