Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, applying effective therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others, to address a wide range of mental health disorders.

• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure clients receive a holistic continuum of care that includes medication management and community support.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to clients in acute distress, utilizing your clinical expertise to de-escalate challenging situations compassionately and effectively.

• Engage in outreach activities within the community, contributing to educational programs aimed at raising mental health awareness and combating stigma.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid independent license in New York State as any of the following: \n

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
  \n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity, ensuring effective engagement with clients from varied backgrounds.
