This role offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while serving clients from the comfort of your home. You will be part of an outpatient office model, collaborating closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to offer comprehensive care. Regular business hours are maintained, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured work-life framework.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand each client’s unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively address mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety, and depression.

• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, ensuring the privacy and security of client information.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team, participating in regular case consultations to evaluate and enhance client care strategies.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, offering insights into mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster understanding and empowerment.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practices through continued education and professional development activities, integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within New York State.

• Demonstrable proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy and the ability to intuitively customize therapeutic interventions to meet individual client needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
