Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, which include reviewing medical history, performing specialized assessments, and documenting results accurately.
• Communicate evaluation findings and collaborate with patients and their families to co-create individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to the patient's needs and adjust as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and health developments.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with other healthcare providers when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care and address any changes in the patient's condition.
• Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring that follow-up care is clear and accessible. Document all patient interactions and care activities promptly and accurately, maintaining complete and legible records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for spinal conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, and post-surgical recovery. The physical therapist will work with a diverse clientele, including athletes recovering from injuries, elderly patients regaining mobility, and individuals managing chronic pain. The ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient is crucial to achieving positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a physical therapist in Florida.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a capability to build rapport with patients and fellow staff.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple patient cases efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
