Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, articulating clear treatment goals that align with their long-term health objectives.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise programming.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately, including clinical services, billing, and communications with the healthcare team and patients' families.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, ensuring familiarity with HIPAA regulations, Medicare policies, and billing codes to deliver services effectively and ethically.
• Foster effective communication with patients and their support systems, demonstrating empathy and understanding in every interaction.
• Provide one-on-one patient care, maximizing treatment effectiveness through focused attention and personalized strategies.
• Regularly reassess patients' progress and adapt care plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with pediatric patients, addressing a range of physical therapy needs from developmental concerns to post-operative rehabilitation. Your expertise will be crucial in helping young clients regain functional abilities and improve their quality of life through specialized therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate degree.
• Active and unrestricted Florida Physical Therapy License.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, combined with a passion for working with children.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques, which will enhance the quality of care provided.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred, providing you with a solid background in patient management.
• Experience working with children and understanding their specific needs in a therapy context will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, reflecting your skills and experience.
