Work Environment

The outpatient clinic operates in a vibrant and collaborative setting, designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation for a diverse range of patients. The typical work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, which provides a balanced work-life integration while contributing to the health and wellness of the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with their individual goals and needs.
• Manage a feasible patient caseload that ensures adequate time and resources are dedicated to each patient's physical therapy journey.
• Implement evidence-based practices, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, with a strong focus on orthopedic outpatient care.
• Design and execute cost-effective treatment plans that enhance mobility, aiming to minimize reliance on surgical interventions or medications.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on clinical evidence and patient feedback.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, instilling a sense of empowerment and self-efficacy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure compliance and effective communication within the care team.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices by designing fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with in our outpatient clinic encompass a wide range of demographics and conditions, including those recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and general mobility issues. Each treatment plan is uniquely crafted to meet the diverse needs of these patients, ensuring that they receive individualized attention and care throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field, with preference given to candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• An active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, with a flawless record that reflects no sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skills in various manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in developing successful exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation practices.
• A thorough understanding of the latest physical therapy methodologies and evidence-supported interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient clinic setting, specifically in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to create and monitor rehabilitative protocols that effectively meet patient needs.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
