Position Overview

Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist for a full-time position at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida. In this onsite role, you will provide hands-on patient care and develop personalized therapy plans that support each patient's rehabilitation journey. Work Environment

You will work in a lively outpatient rehabilitation center equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and tools. The facility boasts a welcoming atmosphere that encourages collaboration among physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, with flexible shift options from either 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or four 10-hour shifts, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient mobility and functional capabilities, utilizing evidence-based evaluation tools to guide treatment decisions.
• Design and implement structured rehabilitation plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient, incorporating progressive therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to support comprehensive patient care and treatment efficacy.
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercise regimens and strategies for monitoring progress, fostering empowerment and independence in the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and care plans to ensure compliance and facilitate interprofessional communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on diverse patient populations, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain management. You will play a crucial role in facilitating recovery through customized rehabilitation techniques that address both physical and emotional aspects of healing.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active or eligible Florida Physical Therapist License.
• Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating competency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation strategies.
• Experience working with specific populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or athletes will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

You can expect a competitive salary in the range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
