Work Environment

This position is based onsite, predominantly within our patients' homes, promoting a flexible work atmosphere that enhances patient engagement and allows therapists the freedom to choose their work hours. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions in their home environment to determine their physical capabilities and therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and adaptive equipment to promote pain relief and mobility enhancement.
• Perform continuous assessments of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure therapeutic goals are met effectively.
• Document all treatments, patient responses, and progress in adherence to the highest standards of professional practice and legal requirements.
• Educate patients and their families about specific exercises, assistive devices, and strategies to ensure safe and effective application of physical therapy principles.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in physical therapy through ongoing education, workshops, and participation in professional societies to maintain a high level of expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The selected candidate will work with a diverse population, including children and adults experiencing various conditions. This role emphasizes compassion and tailored therapy approaches to address the individual needs of each patient, enhancing their recovery process at home.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid and current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in technology, including electronic medical records and word processing software.
• A commitment to professional development and a desire to stay current with advancements in the field of physical therapy.
• Exceptional flexibility and adaptability in various home care settings and with varying patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, though new graduates eager to learn are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
