Infrastructure Project Manager

Position: Project Manager – Infrastructure Services

Location- Pontiac, MI (Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Network Modernization & Migration
• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of enterprise network modernization projects, including WAN connectivity upgrades, carrier circuit coordination, and network cutover strategies.
• Project Planning & Work Breakdown
• Develop and maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project schedules, and resource management plans to keep initiatives on scope, schedule, and budget.
• RFP & Contract Management
• Manage RFP processes, evaluate vendor responses, and govern contract scope of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk & Issue Management
• Identify, document, and actively mitigate project risks and issues; maintain risk registers and escalate blockers to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Network Security Oversight
• Coordinate project activities related to DDoS mitigation, malware defense implementations, and enterprise authentication and access infrastructure deployments.
• KPI Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
• Track and report project KPIs to county IT leadership; produce status updates, presentations, and dashboards using Microsoft 365 tools, Clarity PPM, and Azure DevOps.
• Cisco Infrastructure Coordination
• Collaborate with network engineers on Cisco switching and infrastructure tasks, ensuring technical deliverables align with project milestones.
