Position Overview The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Office Clearical Support. Processes requests for training registrations, including, but not limited to communication with other member agencies, community-based service providers, and professional staff. Provides clearical support to the Child Welfare Employee Licensure (CWEL) Office. Make travel and meeting arrangements for staff. Establishes, organizes, and maintains files. Serves as timekeeper for assigned areas. Maintains the Staff Development Grant program by recording pertinent information on all grant requests on an Excel spreadsheet Orients professional and other clerical staff regarding Departmental and OLPD rules and office procedures. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school. Requires 2 years of office experience. Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 45 wpm. Conditions of Employment Requires completion of a background check and self-disclosure of criminal history. Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties. Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license.
