Capital Project Estimator

Position Overview Chemours is seeking a Capital Project Estimator to join our team at Wilmington, DE. This hybrid position will be available in our Wilmington, DE location. The role functions at both strategic and tactical levels, is accountable for delivery, execution, and management of capital and non‑capital project related estimates, and supports multiple teams. Responsibilities Provides business‑specific conceptual estimates in support of early investment options. Prepares all estimate types based on project progression. Ensures estimates are appropriately developed and meet industry‑issued quality requirements for each step in the project gate process. Generate cost reduction concepts and improved work processes to improve project efficiency. Lead execution of early estimate plans and updates through project implementation. Maintains estimating system cost libraries and historical data. Assists Risk Competency Leads as required and contributes to the discussion on estimate impacts applicable to the risk process. Compile and distribute benchmark/metric data for capital and non‑capital related activities to effectively gauge estimate performance/competitiveness and promote continuous improvement. Required Qualifications 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical, heavy industrial or related industry. Ability to manage multiple project tasks and quickly initiate changes in plan when appropriate. Experience in Aspen Capital Cost Estimator. Experience in Aspen In Plant Cost estimator. Ability to effectively interact with and influence people at all levels within and outside of Chemours. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Possesses 10+ yrs of estimating experience. Technical/Engineering background or experience. 5+ years of familiarity with estimating industry cost basis, Richardson, Aspen, RS Means, etc. Knowledge of @Risk Monte Carlo software. Compensation Pay Range (in local currency): $110,544.00 - $172,725.00 Chemours Level: 26 Annual Bonus Target: 11% The pay range and incentives listed above is a general guideline based on the primary location of this job only and not a guarantee of total compensation.
