Work Environment\n

This position is designed for remote work, offering flexibility while maintaining a structured schedule to support work-life balance. Therapists work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT, ensuring consistent accessibility to meet clients’ needs. Being a part of a community health clinic, our virtual environment thrives on collaboration, allowing therapists to communicate directly with peers and engage in team-oriented discussions easily.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs, prioritizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Implement effective therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment pathways, and self-care strategies to promote informed participation in the therapeutic process.
\n
• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, making real-time adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment modalities align with client needs.
\n
• Keep abreast of the latest research in mood disorders to enhance treatment approaches and contribute to the clinic’s progressive methodologies.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance best practices and contribute to the collective knowledge of mood disorder treatment within the practice.

• Act as a client advocate, reducing stigma around mental health issues and ensuring equitable access to necessary treatment resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our clientele ranges widely, including adolescents, adults, and families, allowing for diverse therapeutic interactions that enrich clinical experience. We recognize the unique challenges faced by each client and strive to create an inclusive environment that addresses the multifaceted nature of mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders such as CBT and DBT, with a strong understanding of their applicability in diverse clinical settings.

• Solid foundation in psychopharmacology to effectively liaise with psychiatrists regarding medication management and client care.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to foster effective therapeutic relationships with clients from various backgrounds, showcasing cultural competency and emotional intelligence.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in community health settings, particularly with outpatient populations.

• History of successful client outcomes in treating mood disorders through individualized therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
