Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to establish baseline functionality and set achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on the specific needs and progress of each patient, employing various therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate closely with physical therapist assistants and other rehabilitation staff to deliver coordinated care, ensuring all treatment sessions are effective and safe.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient treatment sessions, progress notes, and outcomes to track improvements and modify treatment strategies as necessary.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, for efficient patient management and communication with the clinical team.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation goals and self-care strategies, fostering engagement and adherence to treatment.
• Assist in the management and organization of clinic operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will work predominantly with adults recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. This includes patients with fractures, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. A strong focus on restoring functional mobility and reducing pain will be central to your practice, positioning you as a critical player in our patients' recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

• Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to enhance treatment efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
