Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients, guiding them through treatment exercises that facilitate rehabilitation and recovery.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and exercise prescription, ensuring each treatment aligns with patient goals.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, educating them and their families about treatment plans and home exercises to promote self-management and long-term wellness.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans that enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to ensure continuous improvement in clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse population ranges from young athletes to older adults, allowing for a broad scope of practice and the chance to make a meaningful impact on lives across all ages. Qualifications

• Valid California Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain one prior to commencing work.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; additional qualifications such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging patients in their recovery process and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Proficient problem-solving abilities to adapt treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and responses.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation practices is a plus.
• Previous experience with specific populations, such as athletes or post-operative patients, can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
