Functional Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Redwood City, California. Work Environment

In this onsite role, you will deliver hands-on therapy sessions directly in patients' homes, allowing for a personalized rehabilitation experience. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, promoting a cohesive treatment plan that supports our patients' goals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that address orthopedic concerns.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, managing 1-2 patients per hour , while utilizing various modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities for pain relief.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical outcomes, documenting all care delivered in the WebPT system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of treatment, enhancing patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, post-discharge care, and strategies for maintaining independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. We serve a diverse population, tailoring our approach to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient, empowering them to regain mobility and confidence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment modalities to meet patient needs effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience using therapy documentation systems such as WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
