Bodywise Physical Therapy, LLC is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Jersey City, New Jersey. Work Environment

The selected candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the heart of Jersey City. The center is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and a warm, welcoming atmosphere conducive to recovery. Our team of healthcare professionals collaborates closely, allowing for a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The expected schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, fostering a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations upon their admission to the rehabilitation program.
• Establish individualized treatment plans based on specific evaluations, utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Deliver cost-effective and patient-centered interventions that enhance mobility, relieve pain, and promote functional independence.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique goals of each patient, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress through regular updates and adjustments to treatment plans based on their recovery journey.
• Support patients emotionally and motivationally during their treatment process, helping to instill confidence and promote compliance with prescribed therapies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment methodologies, and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on orthopedic patients, including those with post-surgical recovery needs, chronic pain syndromes, and acute injuries resulting from sports or daily activities. You will engage with a diverse patient population, from adolescent athletes to elderly individuals, each requiring unique approaches to therapy. You'll be instrumental in facilitating patients' journeys toward optimal function, greatly impacting their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, specifically focusing on musculoskeletal injuries.
• Demonstrated experience in patient care that includes detailed assessments, direct treatment, and developing successful rehabilitation plans.
• Ability to adapt techniques and approaches for varying patient personalities and recovery stages.

Compensation and Benefits
