Bonneville Peak Rehab and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This role is essential for enabling our patients to regain their mobility and improve their overall function. Work Environment

This position is based onsite within a fully equipped rehabilitation facility. As a Physical Therapist here, you will work in close collaboration with an experienced team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Together, we create a supportive and dynamic workplace that prioritizes professional development and collaborative patient care. The standard work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and objectives of each patient, ensuring a tailored approach to their care.
• Manage an efficient caseload with a target of one patient per hour, providing focused attention and customized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based modalities and therapeutic techniques to design and implement individualized care plans that enhance patient mobility.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies to promote long-term health.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment progress meticulously to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Regularly update and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring the utmost care standards are met.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to address complex patient cases and optimize outcomes.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing their commitment to personal health and well-being.
• Implement wellness programs that encompass strength, flexibility, and coordination training, promoting a holistic approach to health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical repairs, and ongoing musculoskeletal conditions. We cater to a diverse population, each requiring personalized attention and specialized rehabilitation strategies. By focusing on private insurance clients, we can ensure shorter waiting times for patients seeking care, allowing us to provide timely interventions that enhance recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey with a clean record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Proven abilities in manual therapy techniques and conducting comprehensive exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically experience with WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Understanding of the latest rehabilitation techniques and tools.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
