Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Burlingame, you will work in an onsite outpatient clinic equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and tools. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive movement evaluations to assess patient needs and develop customized therapy programs aimed at optimizing physical function.
• Administer therapeutic interventions and manual techniques to address various orthopedic conditions.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Educate patients about exercise regimens and self-management strategies that promote long-term mobility and health.
• Document care and progress in accordance with regulatory standards and facility protocols using electronic health records (EHR) for accurate tracking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role involves working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will be instrumental in guiding patients of various ages—from young athletes to seniors—in regaining their independence and enhancing their overall quality of life through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. While pursuing a Master's or Doctorate is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
• A current and valid Physical Therapy license in California or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to adapt to the individual needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a proven track record of successfully managing diverse patient caseloads.
• Experience using manual therapy techniques and modalities to facilitate rehabilitation processes.
• Familiarity with current best practices and evidence-based therapies relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
