Accounting Clerk

Join a growing financial services firm as an Accounting Clerk, where you will support the accuracy and efficiency of daily accounting operations. What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Handle high-volume data entry for financial transactions
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with discrepancy resolution
- Support month-end close activities with basic accounting tasks
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding billing and payments
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and financial regulations
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative finance work
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Solid Microsoft Excel and data entry skills
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Exposure to accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
- Experience in financial services, banking, or insurance environments
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology
- Hybrid schedule (mix of in-office in Los Angeles and remote work)
- Collaborative team environment with flexibility for focused remote work days
