Job Description Job Description Accounting Clerk - Contract to Hire Opportunity Vernon, CA | $22-$27/hour DOE | 100% Onsite Role A growing organization is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to support transactional accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with invoice processing, purchase order matching, and maintaining accurate financial records in a structured environment. Core Responsibilities Execute three-way matching procedures to verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving records Assist with processing vendor invoices and supporting accounts payable workflows Review financial documentation to ensure accuracy and proper authorization Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with purchasing and warehouse teams Support general ledger functions through reconciliations and documentation preparation Maintain accurate vendor records and filing systems Provide administrative and accounting support to meet operational deadlines Requirements At least 3 years of accounting clerk or related accounting support experience Familiarity with purchasing processes and invoice validation procedures Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems Ability to work onsite daily in Vernon Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour Search managed by: Allison Lau Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
