Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Waves for Good, you will:

• Conduct individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions via telehealth platforms and in-person at our outpatient facility as needed.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client, using evidence-based practices.

• Provide ongoing support, motivation, and therapeutic interventions to assist clients in overcoming emotional, behavioral, or mental health issues.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain meticulous client records and clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

• Stay informed about current trends, research, and developments in the field of counseling, actively participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve serving a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural, socio-economic, and demographic backgrounds. You will engage with clients facing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, and life transitions.
